Once an unhappy young man came to an old master & told him that he was very sad in his life & asked him for a solution.
The old Master instructed the unhappy young man to put a handful of salt in a glass of water & then to drink it.
How does it taste..? the Master asked.
Awful, said the young man.
The Master then asked the young man to take another handful of salt & put it in the lake.
The young man put handful of salt into the lake, the old man said,
Now drink from the lake.
As the water dripped down the young mans chin, the Master asked,
How does it taste? Good! remarked the young man.
Do you taste the salt? asked the Master. No, said the young man.
The Master sat beside this troubled young man, took his hands, & said,
"The pain of life is pure salt; no more, no less. The amount of pain
in life remains the same, exactly the same. But the amount we taste the
pain depends on the container we put it into. So when you are in pain,
the only thing you can do is to enlarge your sense of things &..!!!
Stop being a glass & Become a lake."
Broader Mindset will solve most of the problems we face in Life.
Don't allow problem to grow broader than your mind.
I totally agree with this. There are so many single minded people that I know. It's refreshing to see someone blogging about broadening the mind. Very cool. :)

ReplyDeleteExcellent post!
Yes, but it has been said not to be overwhelmed by the big world. Put your little world first. Yes the perspective may help you see that your problems aren't that big, but don't get overwhelmed worrying about the big world. Changing the Little Things is where it's at...
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post! It is all in the way you look at things!
