If I were the sponge,

I'd soak up your pain,

Squeeze it in the sun,

Let you smile again.

 

If I were the bird,

I'd sing you nice songs,

Which you never heard,

But you'd hum along.

 

If I were the breeze,

I'd gently sooth your soul,

Not a moment amiss,

Make you great and whole.

For My Friend Who Left Me: Part 2, Day 1

How would I know that
today is the last goodbye
between you and I?

Am so grief stricken
upon the sad news of you
leaving

Crystals of my eyes
drop so weakly one by one
wishing you would stay

Alas, I'm human
having not a single strength
to fight against fate

I watch silently
you go,
trying hard, so you could stay

My prayers for you
in my heart, your name engraved
Wish you could come back, my dear
